There are many valuable exhibits in the group of written monuments of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum “Azret Sultan”. One of these books, a work related to the life of saints, is called “Tazkirat ul-Auliya” (life path of Saints). The author of this work was a Sufi, a saint, the author of many books, the famous Persian poet Sheikh Farid al-Din Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Аттар.(1148-1221) The manuscript is written in Persian. Contains 286 pages. Size: 15×26 CM. The binding is made of a thin board covered with belt and paper. The work is intact, well preserved. The year of copying the book and the name of the copier are not specified. The world dates back to the XIX century.

This book tells the story of the lives, moral words, miracles and ancestors of about 100 people who became “saints” in the history of Islam. In the work there are many names of people and places associated with the event. The book “Tazkirat ul-Auliya” (life path of Saints) consists of 96 chapters, each chapter is devoted to the biography of a particular person. The Chronicle of famous religious figures begins with Imam Jafar Sadiq and ends with Abul Fazl Hasan. Among them are the biographies of famous religious figures, such as Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Hassan Basri, Rabia Balkhiya, Abu Mansur Hallaj, Uwais Karani, Maliki Dinar, Junaid Baghdadi and others.

Ibrahim Attar told about t the most interesting and amazing events that took place in the lives of people and spoke about their good deeds for the sake of reward. The content of this book is fully consistent with the life and spiritual culture of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. In addition, the author noted in his work that every reader should not only read the biography of scientists, but also learn from them the ability to do good and instill love. This book is more common in Muslim countries with a modern printing method, but it is valuable because it is an original manuscript that we have. We are sure that even among the written monuments preserved in various manuscript collections in our country, it is almost impossible to find such a work.
