The visit of Alik Shpekbayev, chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption in the Republic of Kazakhstan, to Turkestan city began with a visit to “Azret Sultan” the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum.
Umirzak Shukeyev and Alik Zhatkambaevich visited the Khodzha Akhmet Yasavi mausoleum to worship the spirit of the ancestors and also got acquainted with the monuments of historical Khiluet and the Eastern bath and the underground mosque.
The head of “Azret Sultan” the State Historical and Cultural Reserve -Museum Nurbolat Akhmetzhanov spoke about the work carried out in the framework aimed at development of the reserve-museum for 2018-2022 with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
– “The Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, which is inscribed in the annals of medieval architecture, is the main object in the development of tourism, the interest to the museum of theinternational rank is developing not only among Kazakhstan people, but also among foreign visitors. In this connection, projects aimed at developing the reserve- museum, the formation of a tourist center and the development of tourism, “said Nurbolat Kadyrovich.
Information was also provided about the work carried out on the territory of the Museum in order to promote Turkestan city as the spiritual capital of the Turkic world and preserve the unique appearance of historical sites.
