Responsibilities of the department
- Organization of work on the protection, preservation, and use of material monuments included in the territory of the museum-reserve;
- Observation (monitoring) of the normal condition of monuments.
- Scientific study, the study of archival information related to the history of monuments, the formation of a database.
- Development of scientific, design and estimate documentation for the preservation, restoration, adaptation, and museification of monuments;
- Carrying out works on the preservation of monuments.
- Implementation of control activities for storage and restoration work carried out on the territory of the museum-reserve.
- Cooperation with domestic and foreign scientific organizations, conducting joint projects.
- Publication of research results in the form of scientific articles.
