A meeting of the Turkestan regional commission for the protection of historical and cultural monuments was held

The meeting, organized by the Department of Culture of the Turkestan Region, addressed issues such as the registration and removal of historical and cultural monuments, the regulations for installing monumental art structures, and the preservation of archaeological sites.
As part of the discussion, Associate Professor (PhD) and archaeologist M. Tuyakbayev, representing the Museum-Reserve, presented a scientific project proposal for conducting archaeological excavations at the Namazgah Mosque site in the Sauran settlement.
The meeting was attended by members of the commission, including the head of the Historical Monuments Protection Department of the “Azret Sultan” National Museum-Reserve, A. Karim, as well as deputy akims of districts and cities, relevant department heads, and specialists.
