Today, a special lecture was held at our museum’s club center! The students of the “Young Archaeologist” club were introduced to the fascinating periods of human history in the Turkestan region, from the Stone Age to modern times.
The importance of educational activities at the club center can be highlighted through several aspects:
1.Historical Knowledge:
By presenting historical artifacts and exhibits from the “Azret Sultan” museum-reserve, the club helps young people understand the values of the past. This contributes to the formation of historical memory.
2.Cultural Awareness:
Through club lessons, children learn more deeply about the culture of our people, exploring its unique traditions and arts as potential research topics. This allows future professionals to develop intercultural dialogue skills.
3.Creativity and Development:
The clubs organized in our museum aim to enhance creativity. Students are guided to prepare scientific projects for various school competitions. Additionally, to reinforce their knowledge, they create informational videos for social media, which helps them develop confidence in expressing their thoughts in front of the camera.
4.Teamwork:
Club activities help children develop teamwork skills. The club center serves as an open platform where students collaborate on projects, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
5.Educational Values:
Lessons held at the museum teach children important values such as responsibility, discipline, and mutual respect. These lessons, with an educational focus, positively influence the personal development of young individuals.
6.Training Future Museum Professionals:
The clubs organized at the museum ignite students’ interest in history and culture, particularly in the museum profession. Since most of our club participants are 9th-10th graders, the club plays a role in helping them choose their future careers. Nurturing future museum professionals from a young age will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the advancement of the museum field in our country.
We invite the city’s educational institutions to visit our museum. Bring your students to our museum, and let’s uncover the mysteries of history together!
