Today, the Library Room of the Mausoleum of Khodja Ahmed Yasawi opened a thematic exhibition «Өzbekәli Zhanibekov — a scholar researcher», dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the birth of the figure — Өzbekәli Zhanibekov, who made a significant contribution to the science and culture of our nation.
The main goal of the event was to promote the multifaceted personality of the scientist, to give an example of his deep and innovative research work to the younger generation, and to publicly present valuable exhibits from the museum’s collections.
The exhibition features:
- Personal belongings of Özbekali Zhanibekov used in his office;
- Scientific papers and manuscripts;
- Published articles, books, and publications;
- Photographs and rare documents from his personal archive.
The event was attended by representatives of the city akimat and heads of local museums, employees of the Farab Universal Library, representatives of the public of Turkestan, and the International University of Tourism and Hospitality. As part of the event, a collection of memoirs about Özbekәli Zhanibekov, «Arda Tugan Özagan», compiled by Dinara Berikovna, a researcher at the Scientific Center for Yasawi Studies, was donated to the library of the museum-reserve.
Özbekәli Zhanibekov was not only a scholar and researcher, but also a leader of the nation’s spirituality and a prominent figure in our culture. His rich scientific legacy and works will serve as an eternal example for future generations.
