Within the framework of popularization of the article of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe” was held in the International Conference “Turkestan – the cradle of the Turkic world.”
The purpose of the conference is to determine the significance of the history of Turkestan city – the spiritual capital of the Turkic-speaking countries, folklore and culture, exchange of experience, exchange of opinions.
The scientific conference was attended by the faculty of the International Academy of Turkology, scientists from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, akim of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev, the rector of the IKTU named after Koja Ahmet Yassawi Bolatbek Abdrasilov, doctor, professor of Marmara University Zhengiz Tomar, senior expert of the international studies department of the Turkish Academy, Professor Kadyraly Konkobayev, Professor of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Sarygul Bahadyrova and scientists-historians of the country.
At the conference, the director of “Azret Sultan” the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhmetzhanov Nurbolat Kadyrovich made a presentation on the “Concept of the development of ” Azret Sultan ” the reserve-museum for 2018-2022.”
As part of the conference, “Azret Sultan” the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum organized a special exhibition. The exhibition displays more than 20 photographs and original exhibits of the XII century, donated by Amir Timur, lauha and valuable manuscripts.
