Cultural and educational event “My Elders – my treasure” was held on October 1 – International Day of Older Persons organized by the State Historical and Cultural Preserve- Museum “Azret Sultan”.

The event was attended by representatives of the older generation working in the museum. Akhmetzhanov Nurbolat Kadirovich, the Director of the State Historical and Cultural Preserve-Museum “Azret Sultan”, congratulated the veterans on the way to the inventory of the history of Turkestan and preserved their heritage and publicly.

Within the framework of the event young performers of Turkestan performed traditional songs and read poems by art critics.

All the guests sang songs of Shamshi Kaldayakov, a well-known poet, editor of the reserve-museum Abdikerim Manapov dedicated a song and show gratefulness from elders.

During the event an exhibition and film about the veterans and their works were presented at the “Aziret-Sultan” reserve-museum.
