We informed that the Yasawitanu club, the centers “Young Archaeologist”, “Young Guide”, “Young Restorer” have started their work at the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Әзірет Сұлтан”. Starting this school year, students of our city will be able to come to these centers and get the opportunity to hone their knowledge. On October 16-17 of this year, students of Hamza Secondary School №3, Kazybek bi Secondary School №14, and Damu Intellectual School took part in the first lecture of the Yasawitanu Club. Twice a month, students will be able to visit the center to gain knowledge on various topics from researchers. During the year, students will be given lectures on the legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, about the history and epigraphy of the mausoleum, about the history of exhibits stored in the museum-reserve and about the history of the city of Turkestan. The museum’s specialists will prepare lectures for students mainly in historical places, in the form of game lessons, essays, interscholastic competitions and scientific projects. The first lecture of the Yasawitanu club was conducted by a junior researcher at the museum-reserve U. Zhunusbayev on the topic “The meaning of the inscriptions of the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. The students shared their impressions of the first lecture and noted that in the future they will accompany their peers to lectures, who will study together in their schools.
