THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CULTURE COMMITTEE HAS BEEN APPOINTED

Today by order of the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aktota Raimkulova, Akan Abdualiyev was appointed Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

We congratulate Akan Zhylkishibaiuly on transition to a new post, we wish him health and success in work.

Akan Zhylkyshibaevich was born in 1975 in Shien village of Zhambyl district of Almaty region.

In 2005 he graduated from the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, majoring in “Folk Music”. In 2005 he graduated from the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy majoring in “folk song” and in 2012 graduated from the Almaty Economic and Statistical Academy majoring in “economist”.

He began his career as a soloist at the Almaty Regional Philharmonic in Taldykorgan. He began his career as a soloist at Almaty Regional Philharmonic named after Suyunbay in Taldykorgan.

2003-2004 he was a singer-instrumentalist of State Concert Organization “Kazakhconcert”,

2005-2007 he taught in Variety and Circus College named after Zh. Yelebekov

2007-2008 he taught at the State Concert Organization “Kazakhconcert”. Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.

2008-2015 – Deputy Director, Akhmet Zhubanov Republican Kazakh Specialized Music Boarding School for Gifted Children; 2009-2015. – Head of the Department “Traditional Performing Arts” of the Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov

2015-2016. – Director of the Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl;

2016-2018. – 2016-2018 Head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of Almaty region;

2018-2019. – Deputy Akim of Almaty region.

From 2019 to the present, he has been the rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov under the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
