The Academic Council of the “Azret Sultan” Museum-Reserve is one of the forms of joint management. In its activities, the Academic Council is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Regulations and the Charter of the museum-reserve. The Academic Council is formed on the basis of an order issued by the director of the museum-reserve. Its members include the director of the museum-reserve, deputy directors, heads of departments, and administrative staff. Scholars, artists, and representatives of cultural organizations may be included in the Academic Council upon the proposal of the administration. The Council is elected for a term of three years and consists of an odd number of members. If necessary, changes to its composition may be made by decision of the Council meeting. The Secretary is elected by decision of the Academic Council and is responsible for managing document workflow.
