As of the beginning of 2024, the museum’s scientific library recorded 7,537 books. The number of donated books – none. Purchased books – none. The total number of books amounts to 7,537.
The process of registering books donated to the library collection is ongoing. This year, was established the scientific center Yasawi Studies, employing about 20 researchers. Within the center has been opened — a library section, which currently uses our library’s books and is gradually being provided with the necessary literature. Relevant materials from newspapers are also being regularly collected.
On April 23 – in honor of World Book and Copyright Day – a special event entitled “The Book I Read” was held among the museum staff.
Event Goal: to foster employees’ interest in books, strengthen mutual connections, and increase reading activity among staff of different age groups.
Event Objectives: to enhance participants’ critical thinking skills; to encourage the reading of fiction; to create a creative and competitive environment among employees.
Result: this event sparked greater enthusiasm among our book-loving staff and helped expand the community of readers.
