A Round Table on the Topic “The Constitution – the Foundation of Statehood” Was Held

Today, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a round table titled “The Constitution – the Foundation of Statehood” was held at the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Aziret Sultan.”

The event brought together representatives from the Turkistan City Prosecutor’s Office, the Regional Bar Association, Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, and legal scholars from the International University of Tourism and Hospitality.

Participants delivered insightful presentations and exchanged views on the importance of the Constitution in statehood and the legal system, the role of democratic reforms, the rule of law, and the building of a just society. The presentations covered the following topics:

  • Zangar Aripulu, Head of Department at the Turkistan City Prosecutor’s Office – “The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan”;
  • Polat Zhandarbekov, lawyer from the Turkistan Regional Bar Association – “Constitutional Decisions”;
  • Hazretali Tursun, Doctor of History, Professor at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University – “The Constitution – the Foundation of Statehood”;
  • Lazzat Dinasheva, Doctor of History, Professor at the International University of Tourism and Hospitality – “Constitutional Reforms as a Guarantee of Democracy”;
  • Nursultan Poshanov, PhD in Law, International University of Tourism and Hospitality – “The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: The Rule of Law and the Prerequisites for Building a Just Society”;
  • Akmaryl Sandybaeva, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor at the International University of Tourism and Hospitality – “30 Years of the Constitution: A Symbol of Freedom and the Rule of Law.”

At the conclusion of the event, the speakers were awarded certificates of appreciation and gifts. An exhibition titled “The Constitution – the Foundation of Statehood” was also presented.
