A JOINT EDUCATIONAL SESSION OF THE “YOUNG GUIDE” AND “YOUNG ARCHAEOLOGIST” CLUBS WAS HELD

🔹 At the “Azret Sultan” National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, the “Museum Pedagogy” Department organized another educational session for participants of the two clubs. The purpose of the event was to broaden the historical worldview of adolescents and to introduce them to the museum space from different perspectives.

🔹 The session was conducted by A. Tursynov, Junior Research Associate of the Museum-Reserve’s Research Department, who delivered an informative lecture titled “The Turkestan Oasis: From Ancient Times to the Present.” During the lecture, the children learned about the historical development of the region from ancient eras to modern times, its cultural transformation, and its unique characteristics.

🔹 After the theoretical part, the club members completed practical tasks, allowing them to reinforce the knowledge they had gained. At the end of the lesson, the participants played a specially designed educational “Monopoly” game dedicated to the museum-reserve. Through this interactive activity, the adolescents explored the significance of museum objects, the importance of historical monuments, and the interconnection between them.

🔹 The joint session helped young guides develop skills in structured information delivery, analysis, and logical thinking, while young archaeologists gained an opportunity to examine historical data in a comprehensive manner. Such educational meetings expand the scientific outlook of the younger generation and strengthen their interest in and respect for national heritage.
