Today, the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Azіret Sultan n» held the grand opening of the exhibition «Kazakhstan in the Early Iron Age», organized by the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Esik» of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The aim of the exhibition is to widely promote the historical and cultural heritage of our country from ancient times and to introduce visitors to the masterpieces of the Saka-Uysin era.
The exhibition includes unique artifacts from the Early Iron Age.
Specifically:
* The silver cup and gold ring of the Golden Man, as well as various jewelry;
* A three-tiered cauldron characteristic of the Saka-Uysin culture of the Early Iron Age;
* Original ceramics and other vessels from the 4th–5th centuries BC;
* Archaeological treasures of Semirechye;
* Scientifically crafted replicas of valuable artifacts found in Eastern, Western, and Central Kazakhstan.
The exhibition will showcase the depth of our historical and cultural heritage and offer a fresh perspective on the value of archaeological sites. Furthermore, this event aims to foster intercultural dialogue and historical knowledge in the country.
The exhibition opening was attended by cultural figures from the Turkestan region, members of the grandmothers’ association, museum staff, and a wide audience interested in our history.
The exhibition «Kazakhstan in the Early Iron Age» will be open to the public until October 28, 2025.
