Today, a ceremonial event dedicated to the Day of Workers of Culture and Art was held in the center «Uly Dala Eli» of the city of Turkestan. It was organized by the public association «Kazakhstan Professional Union of Workers of the Culture, Sports, Tourism and Information Sector».

During the event, the chairman of the Turkestan regional branch of the trade union Asylkhan Temirkhan presented special badges to workers who have worked conscientiously in the field of culture and art for many years.

Among the awardees is Kopeeva Meruert Aliyevna, librarian of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Azret Sultan». For significant work in the field of culture, she was awarded the badge «Madeniet salasynyn kasіpodak uzdigі».

After the award ceremony, in connection with the announcement of 2025 as the Year of Working Professions, a regional competition in the museum sphere «Best Specialist in the Working Direction» was held within the framework of the «Trade Union and Working Professions» project.

Elvira Askarova, museum curator of the Azret Sultan Museum-Reserve, took part in the competition, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, discipline and responsibility, and took second place.

These initiatives are an important means of assessing the work of industry professionals, raising their status and encouraging them.
