The National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Azret Sultan» hosted the traditional competition among schoolchildren «Yasavitanu-2025».
The competition was opened by Acting Director of the National Museum-Reserve «Azret Sultan» Nurlan Dukenbayev and Chairman of the Turkestan City Maslikhat Gappar Sarsenbayevich, wishing the participants good luck.
71 students who passed the regional and city selection from all regions of the country and the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Turkestan took part in the knowledge competition. Acting Director of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Azret Sultan» Nurlan Dukenbayev, State Prize winner, poet Svetkali Nurzhan, Candidate of Philological Sciences Bolat Kurganbek, head of the Scientific Center for Yasav Studies Saypulla Mollakanagatuly, head of the Scientific Research Center «Yasavitanu» of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H.A.Yasavi, PhD, Associate Professor Bauyrzhan Saifunov.
The purpose of the competition is to stimulate the younger generation to study and master the heritage of the great ancestor more deeply by promoting the spiritual heritage of the great ancestors of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, who shaped the spiritual integrity of the Kazakh people, increasing the intellectual thinking of the younger generation, the role and place of historical figures buried in Turkestan in the formation of the Kazakh state, historical and cultural monuments, valuable heritage of the medieval popularization of the period of Amir Temir.
The participants competed among themselves in three stages: «Yasawi murasi – balaga amanat», «Bilimdi mydy zhygar alyskanda», «Oh zhuirik».
According to the results of the Grand Prix competition, the participant of the Turkestan region, Koltai Feruza, became a participant. The first place went to Adilzhan Shynar from Zhetysu region and Akmola participant Zhaksylyk Dayana. The second place was taken by 6 participants, 21 participants-the third place, 3 participants — in the nomination «Audience Award». All participants and managers were awarded a special diploma and presented with awards.
Alimova Aikerim and Akhmetov Sabyrzhan received a grant to study at the International Kazakh-Turkic University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in religious studies and theology.
It should be noted that the Yasavitanu competition has been held since 1997.
