The department’s mission is to conduct methodological and expert work on the development, study, and promotion of historical and cultural sites and museum pedagogy of the reserve-museum.
Responsibilities of the department:
- In accordance with the defined objectives of the department, the following tasks are assigned:
- Formation of the methodology of museum and educational activities on the basis of the museum fund;
- Formation of children’s and adolescents’ emotional perception of aesthetic taste, historical thinking, development of psychophysiological, socio-psychological creativity in various age groups during the preparation and holding of cultural events in their free time;
- Organization and expansion of the center for children’s creativity, which includes various types of cultural and educational activities (clubs, creative workshops, studios) ;
- Development and implementation of a museum and educational program for families and children;
- Conducting and preparing sociological surveys of museum visitors on museum and educational activities;
- Preparation for the publication of methodological documents on museum and educational activities.
