The museum-reserve held a visiting exhibition “The Legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi” at the general secondary school named after Zh. Zhabaev and a lecture on “The legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, stored in the Museum Fund.” The exhibition and lectures were attended by students of grades 10-11 of the general secondary school named after Zh. Zhabaev.
The event is aimed at popularizing the Hikmets of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, who formed the spiritual integrity of the Kazakh people, stimulating the younger generation to study and deepen the heritage of the great Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, instilling the morality of the great Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, and developing skills to work with children in the museum works.
The exhibition features more than 50 exhibits. Books by Khoja Ahmed Yasawi “Diwani hikmet”, “Pakhyrnama”, “Miratul Kulub”, “Risalla dar adabi tariqat” and ethnographic artifacts stored in the museum’s collections, 1871-1872. A. Kun’s book “Turkestan Album” featured photographs of historical sites, the mausoleum, taykazan, laukha and historical doors.
A tour of the exhibition was conducted by T.Orazov, a junior researcher at the museum-reserve, and S. Bayseit, a junior researcher, gave a lecture on “The legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, stored in the Museum Fund.”
The administration of the Zh. Zhabaev general secondary school thanked the organizers of the event.
