Distant descendants of the family of Khoja Akhmet Yasawi live in the Alabukinsky district of the Jalalabad region of the Kyrgyz Republic. Today, elder of the aksakal Tazhidinov family Minavar (76 years old), his wife Madina Tazhidinova (66 years old), and their son Tazhidinov Musilim (48 years old) handed over to the museum-reserve a 40-meter scroll of the geneology of Ahmed Yasawi “Nasabnama”, written in Persian and its electronic version. At an advanced age, their grandfather Tajiddin entrusted this family tree to a young daughter-in-law, Rahila, so that she would keep it in a chest and pass it on to the next generation. Rahila, who is now 93 years old, having convened the entire family, solemnly handed over the “Pedigree” to elder Tajiddin Minavar. The genealogy records the names of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi’s wife, son Ibrahim, daughter Gaukhar Khoshtaj and son-in-law Akhmet al-Karashq. Junior researcher at the museum-reserve U.Zhunisbayev and scientist Z. Zhandarbek approve that the genealogy was copied at the beginning of the twentieth century, and has previously unknown information regarding the genealogy of the saint. In the near future, the staff of the museum-reserve will fully study the genealogy of Nasabnama and introduce it into scientific circulation.
