On April 25, 2024, a scientific expedition was organized in the villages of Karajon, Maidantal, Sauran region, Turkestan region, with the participation of museum-reserve employees.

The purpose of the expedition is to collect ethnographic, archeological, and written relics with a centuries-old history preserved in the hands of the people and take them to the museum fund. Members of the expedition: the head of the scientific research department B. Baibolov, the members of scientific workers D.Arynova, A.Urkinbaeva, junior scientific worker S. Bayseyit.

Members of the expedition expressed their gratitude on behalf of the museum management to the villagers who gave their relics to the museum, offered to register for special pages of the museum, and presented printed products of the museum.

The expedition will continue until the end of the year in Sauran, Baidibek, Sozak, Otyrar, Kazygurt, Keles, Saryagash districts of Turkestan region and Zhanakorgan, Shieli districts of Kyzylorda region.
