A series of cultural and public events will be held on May 17-18 on the occasion of May 18 – International Day of Museums by the organization of “Azret Sultan” museum-reserve.

On May 17, at 11:00 a.m., the “Gift to the museum” campaign will be organized in the Friday mosque museum. During the event, ethnographic, archeological, written monuments collected by the people will be accepted as a gift to the museum fund, and an exhibition of “Gifted Artifacts” will be organized for the guests. More than 100 artefacts are expected to be exhibited at the exhibition.

On May 17, between 15:00 and 16:30, an intellectual game “Syr Sandyk” will be organized among schoolchildren in Friday mosque. Pupils of the 6th grades of the school-gymnasium named after A. Navai, general secondary school named after N. Poshanov, general secondary school named after S. Rakhimov will participate in the team competition. The competition will take place in the form of questions and answers. Prizes and special diplomas will be awarded to winning teams and prize winners.

The cultural and public event “Museum Night” will continue on May 18, 2024 from 17:00 to 23:00.
