In honor of the spiritual leader of the Turkic world Khoja Akhmed Yassawi the children-youth center of our city organized cultural-mass action “Ulyga Tagzym” (Worship of the great). Yassawi scholars and famous writers took part in the event. Museum-reserve Azret Sultan created on the basis of our saint ancestor organized exhibition titled

Heritage of Khoja Akhmed Yassawi within the event. Valuable heritage stored in the museum funds was exposed at the exhibition. In particular, handwritten books of Khoja Akhmed Yassawi “Divani hikmet” and versions of 1902-1910 from Kazan, Tashkent and Istanbul publishing houses, works “Risala dar adabi tarikat”, “Pahirnama”, “Mirat ul-Qulub”, the work of S. Bakirgani, the student of the great personality. Bakirgani’s “Diwan”, the Diwan of St. Bidel, “Ghazals” by A. Navoi, the work “Bustan ul-muhibbin” by Shaykh Hudaydat al-Bukhari, lauh and copies of entrance doors donated by Amir Timur.

The main purpose of the exhibition was to inculcate and promote to the younger generation the life and work and invaluable heritage of Khoja Akhmed Yassawi, who embodied the spiritual integrity of the Kazakh people.

The exhibition continued in secondary school № 3 named after Amir Timur. Pupils and teachers at the school learned a lot about the heritage of Yassawi, and junior researchers of the museum T. Orazov and S. Baisseit answered pupils’ questions on various topics. Interesting and informative exhibitions will have their continuation.
