Acting Director of State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum “Azret Sultan” Ersin Tazhibayev visited mausoleums of Ukasha-ata, Zhussup-ata, Gauhar-ana of museum-reserve and got acquainted with the work on improvement of these historical places.

On the territory of the mausoleum Zhusup-ata in Turkestan at the expense of the museum-reserve and sponsors began construction of a tourist center, a storage capsule was installed. Active construction works are in progress. The service center for tourists and pilgrims consists of 4 rooms. There are administrative, museum exposition, hotel and household premises.

In addition, 12 varieties of the best grape varieties were planted and a special garden was planted to revive the beloved business of Yussup Ata, who grew a special variety of grapes according to historical information. Grape seedlings planted in April and May took root well. In the future, tourists and pilgrims visiting the mausoleum will be able to learn about the historical site and the people buried there, relax and taste the grapes in the garden. Commissioning of the tourist center is scheduled for September.

In addition, the paving of the road between the Uqasha Ata mausoleum and the parking lot is in full swing. It is expected that the road will be completed in 2-3 days. In addition, the overhaul of the mosque near the Uqash Ata mausoleum was completed and commissioned in early June. Now the worshippers visiting the mausoleum of Uqash Ata, one of the favorite associates of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and pilgrims will be able to pray in one of the rooms of the mosque.

In the course of improvement works, the issues of arrangement of street canopies and creation of conditions for visitors were worked out.

In addition, a new wide canopy was installed for the convenience of visitors, and trees and flowers were planted around the well Ukasha-Ata. The buildings are being painted in winter and summer for the convenience of visitors.

Gauhar Ana Mausoleum is also one of the most important facilities. This year, a tourist center will be built in the Gauhar Ana Mausoleum. The initiative aims to create conditions for pilgrims and tourists who bathe in the holy spring named after the famous mother and recover from illness. Hospitality, museum and propaganda departments will open here.
