Today, more than 200 “Lemon Queen” marigolds and 50 saplings of fruit trees are planted near the mausoleum of Gauhar ana, the daughter of Khoja Ahmet Yasawi.
Before that, we have already reported on the improvement of the territory around the Gauhar ana mausoleum. For the convenience of visitors, parking was organized, the territory is surrounded by an iron fence. In order to ensure security, video surveillance cameras are installed. This year, work on the improvement of the territory of this mausoleum will continue. The grave cover, carpets and rugs for guests have also been updated.
It should be noted that in 2015, the Azret Sultan Museum-Reserve re-erected a mausoleum on the small grave of Gauhar ana, the daughter of Khoja Ahmet Yasawi.The territory of the mausoleum, overgrown with jantak, was put in order, landscaped. Various trees were planted here, flower beds were laid out. Warning signs and signs were updated, and an information stand was installed with information about the Gauhar Ana mausoleum in three languages. The flow of tourists is large, so a toilet was built that meets modern requirements.The mausoleum of Gauhar ana is a part of the state Historical and cultural museum-reserve “Azret Sultan” and is included in the list as a religious and spiritual monument. This year, a visit center will be built next to the mausoleum with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The mausoleum is located in the south, 4 kilometers from the city of Turkestan, 400-5000 meters to the left of the Turkestan Shaulder highway.
