A regular meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council chaired by the Director of the Department of Culture and Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Kumis Seitova has been held today.

The meeting was attended by Director of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum “Azret Sultan” Nurbolat Akhmetzhanov, Director of the Otrar State Archaeological Reserve Museum Zhangeldy Makashev, Deputy Mayor of Turkestan Zhandos Tasov, representatives of “KazReconstruction” and historians, scientists and contractors.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of reconstruction of historical sites on the territory of the mausoleum of Hodja Ahmed Yassavi, coordination of modernization projects, improvement of the medieval town of Sauran, construction of a tourist center and tourism potential.
