Today, in the concert hall of Astana, the exhibition “Elbasy and Turkestan”, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum “Azret Sultan”, dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, began its work.

The exhibition, combined in three sections, presents more than 60 exhibits from the museum-reserve.

In the first part of the exhibition, the head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev in 1985, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR, the presidents of the fraternal Turkish Republic Turgut Ozal, Suleimen Demirel, Ahmet César, Abdulla Gül, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan I. Karimov, the exposition presents telling about official trips in Turkestan in 2018, in the second part, the legacy of Khoja Ahmet Yasawi, who became the sultan of the saints. The invaluable legacy of Khoja Ahmet Yasawi is the handwritten and printed versions of the book “Diuani hikmet”, characteristic of the XVIIIth century, “Risollya the gift of adabi tariq”, “Nasabnama”, translated in the XIX century. The works of Navoi “Ghazal”, “Muslik al-Muttakin” by Sophie Allayar, “Auliyenin osiyetteri”, “Diuan” by Khoja Hafiz, “Kissalar” by Imam Magrudi and “Diwan” books were placed.
The third part of the exhibition is devoted to photographs of the holy places and historical monuments of the Turkestan region.
