The Republican State Enterprise “Azret Sultan” National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve is one of the major museums in our country. The museum was established on March 28, 1977, in the city of Turkistan, based on the mausoleum built in the late 14th century by Amir Timur in honor of the poet, prominent promoter of Islamic teachings, and revered spiritual figure known as the “Pir of Turkistan” — Khoja Ahmed Yasawi (Azret Sultan). The museum welcomed its first visitors on September 30, 1978, marking the beginning of its operation. On August 28, 1989, by Resolution No. 256 of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR, it was reorganized into the “Azret Sultan” State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve. According to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 585 dated July 24, 2015, the institution was re-established as the Republican State Institution “Azret Sultan” State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On December 19, 2023, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 415, the “Azret Sultan” State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve became the first museum-reserve in the country to be granted the status of “National”.
Until 2015, the reserve museum, functioning in the form of a state institution, was 100% financed from the budget. And now, as an enterprise after 2015, the museum was allocated 80% of the funds from the republican budget, that is, the remaining 20% of the funds should be found by the reserve- museum through its activities.
It says, hundreds of millions tenge are being received in the reserve museum. In order to answer this unreasonable information, the museum administration decided to annually announce specific indicators of funds entering the reserve-museum.

Of this amount: 7,763.81 tenge for banking services, 2,691,114 tenge for the purchase of goods necessary for the household. The total amount of expenses in January was 2,698,877.81 tenge. 2,967,565.19 tenge will be directed to the work planned for the next month. |
| February | In February, 4,995,156 tenge were received into the charity and sponsorship account of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum «Azret Sultan»: Of this amount, 5,464.82 tenge was spent on banking services in February. That is, 4,989,691.18 tenge will be spent on work planned for the next month. |
| March | In March, the charity and sponsorship account of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Azret Sultan» received 13,470,634.47 tenge. Of this amount: 18,234.97 tenge for banking services, 446,246 tenge for travel expenses 2,100,000 tenge for economic work. The total amount of expenses in March was 2,564,480.97 tenge. That is, 10,906,153.50 tenge will be spent on work planned for the next month. |
| April | In April, 12,210,002.88 tenge were received into the charity and sponsorship account of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum «Azret Sultan». Of this amount, 15,724.51 tenge were spent on banking services, 26,725,000 tenge on cultural events, 983,156 tenge on economic work. The total amount of expenses in April was 27,723,880.51 tenge. 15,513,877.63 tenge was spent on the balance of funds from previous months. |

Of this amount: 19 850.12 tenge was spent on banking services, 690 000 tenge on travel expenses, 3 200 000 tenge on cultural events. | July | In July, the charitable and sponsorship account of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Aziret Sultan» received 24,062,903.32 tenge. Of this amount, the following was spent: on banking services – 21,128.36 tenge, on travel expenses – 2,362,223 tenge, on production equipment – 10,744,313.12 tenge, on office supplies – 195,500 tenge, on electricity – 2,950,776.64 tenge, on housekeeping – 6,271,776 tenge. Total expenses in July amounted to 22,545,717.12 tenge. This means that 1,517,186.20 tenge will be spent on the work planned for next month. |
| August | In August, the charitable and sponsorship account of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Aziret Sultan» received 13,819,281.16 tenge. Of this amount, 212,312 tenge was spent on salaries, 17,757.79 tenge on banking services, 2,350,000 tenge on travel expenses, 864,880 tenge on production equipment, 156,800 tenge on office supplies, 1,875,524.67 tenge on electricity, 728,725 tenge on household needs. Total expenses for August amounted to 6,205,999.46 tenge. That is, 7,613,281.70 tenge will be spent on work planned for the next month. |
| September | In September, 9,671,464.08 tenge were received into the charitable and sponsorship account of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Aziret Sultan.» Of this amount, 53,451 tenge went toward salaries, 15,113.80 tenge went toward banking services, 3,881,052 tenge went toward travel expenses, 442,000 tenge went toward the purchase of production equipment, 150,000 tenge went toward the purchase of office supplies, and 2,656,742 tenge went toward administrative work. The total expenses for September amounted to 7,198,358.80 tenge. This means 2,473,105.28 tenge will be used for work planned for next month. |
