THE ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT OF THE “DIWANI HIKMET”, NOT EXHIBITED BEFORE, WAS PRESENTED AT THE EXHIBITION

State historical and cultural museum-reserve “Azret Sultan” opened the exhibition “Uly Dalanyn Rukhani Muralary” in Pavlodar regional historical museum named after G. Potanin.

Samal Begalinova, the head of Pavlodar regional department of culture and development of languages and archival business, took part in the exhibition, devoted to 30th  anniversary of Independence of the country, life and heritage of the spiritual person of Turkestan, works of his pupils, history of Turkestan, The head of Palodar Regional Department of Culture, Languages Development and Archives, Samal Begalanova, acting director of State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Azret Sultan” Ersin Tazhibayev, researcher of life and work of Mashur Zhussip Kopeyuly, doctor of philological sciences, professor Aitmuhambet Kassymbayuly, poet, member of Writers Union of Kazakhstan Arman Kani and other representatives of intellectuals, museum workers took part in the exhibition.

– “The historical heritage of sacred Turkestan has arrived in the Pavlodar region. For the public of Pavlodar with its rich history, this is an important initiative, a great joy. Within a month the inhabitants of our area, tourists will have an opportunity to get acquainted with a heritage of Yasawi, valuable exhibits”- said the head of Pavlodar regional department of culture and development of languages, archival case Samal Balgabaykyzy.

Yersin Botabayuly, Acting Director of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Azret Sultan”, expressed his gratitude to the akimat of the Pavlodar oblast, the management and the staff of the museum.

“The exhibition features more than 100 exhibits telling about the time in which the great thinker lived. The main purpose of the exhibition is to promote, in the area of spiritual renaissance, the unity of the people of Kazakhstan, continuity of traditions, the rich heritage of our people on the basis of the priceless literary and scientific heritage of Hoja Akhmed Yassawi, students – followers of the spiritual master, works of scientists in various fields of science, showing that Turkestan was the center of science and education since the Middle Ages.

In addition, the scientific and cognitive expedition “In the footsteps of Yassawi” will continue in Pavlodar, said Ersin Botabaiuly.

After the solemn meeting the ribbon was cut and a tour was organized.

The exhibition “Uly dalanyn ruhani мuralary” consists of three sections.

The first part is devoted to scientific and literary heritage of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi himself. During his life Khoja Akhmed Yassawi was respected by people and received the title of “The Sultan of All Saints”, becoming the spiritual leader of all Muslims of Turkic-speaking nations. He received all the honors not only during his lifetime, but he was especially honored and during subsequent generations. Khoja Akhmet Yassawi left his descendants an invaluable and unforgettable literary and scientific heritage. Followers-disciples of the saint far beyond the borders of Turkestan spread the teachings of their Teacher. The world of the teachings of Khoja Akhmed Yassawi is a world of great mystery. The unity of the Kazakh people that survived the tragic years begins with Yassawi’s call for unity. Very expressively reveals the spiritual inner world of Azret Sultan the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, who writes: “The teachings of Khoja Akhmed Yassawi, which absorbed a special radiant power, spread far beyond Turkestan, embellished the national spiritual system of knowledge of all Turkic peoples of Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, and he continues: “The Mausoleum of Khoja Akhmed Yassawi Arystanbab in Otrar and the Mausoleum of Khoja Akhmed Yassawi in Turkestan are very important centers of national spirituality of Kazakhs.

The exhibition will include a never-before-exhibited original manuscript “Diwani Hikmet”, its printed editions published in 1887-1901 in Kazan, 1901 in Istanbul. 1902-1911 in Tashkent, as well as, its edition in Latin. Of particular interest will be the manuscripts of the annals “Risalla dar adabi tarikat”, “Pakyrnama”, “Miratul kulub”, “Nasabnama” and photographs of Turkestan A. Kuhn made in the nineteenth century.

In the second section of the exhibition will be presented the works of pupils, followers of the great mentor: the manuscript by S. Bakorgani “Diwan”. The second section of the exhibition will feature the works of the great master’s followers: the manuscript “Diwan” by S. Bakyrgani, the manuscript in Turkish “Bustan ul Muhibbi” by Sheikh Khudaydad Tash-Muhammad al-Bukhari, “Ghazaldar” by A. Navoi, “Muslik al-Muttakin” (Precepts of the Saint) by Sofa Allayar, “Diwans” by Khoja Hafiz, “Hisary” by Imam Magrudi and “Diwan” by Saint Bidel.

The third section of the exhibition will present the scientific works of various fields of activity of scientists who lived in Turkestan during the Middle Ages and later. Namely, the book “Ғayas al-lugat Muntakhabal-lugat” dedicated to linguistics, the book on Arabic grammar “Risakatun uafiyatun fi islami abni agi”, the book of interpretation of shariah “Sharhul Uikayati, Umuratu tiyati”. Other equally important works are studies in history, geography, and jurisprudence.
