TAUKE KHAN ABULMAMBET ULY

He was the son of Abulmambet khan (1690–1771), grandson of Bolat khan, ninth son of Janibek khan. He was from Djadik dynasty. Academic historian I. Erofeeva, highlights evidences that he ruled such races as karakerei, naiman of Middle zhuz and sirgeli, saryu-uysin of Senior zhuz. Information about Tauke Abulmambet uly is mentioned in Russian documents. There are materials, evidencing that on November 14, 1756, Tauke, sultan of Middle zhuz wrote a letter to Russian lieutenant-general I. Decolongue of his intention to join Russia (KazakhRussian relations in XVI–XVIII centuries, 1961: 115). I.G. Andreev notes in his materials that his pastures located along Irtysh river, in the outskirts of Yamyshevskaya fortress in the mountains of Bayanaul with pine woods and fresh lake. (Andreev, 2007: 137). At that times, Tauke khan had relationships with Russia and China. In 1783, Qing empire assigned him title of “wang”. There is some information kept about his deat h in 1797. Tauke khan was buried in mausoleum of Khodja Ahmed Yasawi (Kazakh Khans 2015: 176).
