Exhibition “Sacred Turkestan” opened in Otyrar district

A mobile thematic exhibition “Sacred Turkestan” was presented in Koksaray village of Otyrar district.
The exhibition was organized by the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Azret Sultan” in honor of the announcement by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev that “2022 is the Year of children”. The exhibition was visited by students of secondary schools named after M. Auezov and Ergobek, who shared their impressions about the history of the great people.

The exhibition includes the spiritual heritage of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi – manuscripts, printed versions of the book “Diwani Hikmet”, copies of lamps of the 14th century, taikazan, laukhi (tip of the banner), made on the order of colonel Amir Temur, and disciples of the great personality S. Bakyrgani’s manuscript work “Diwan”, the handwritten work of Sheikh Khudaidad Tash-Muhammad al-Bukhari in the Turkic language “Bustan al Muhibbin” , “Gazals” by A. Nauai, “Muslim Al-Muttakin” by Sofa Allayar, “The Commandments of the Saint”, “Diwan” by Khoja Hafiz, “Kisa” by Imam Magdi, “Diana” by Saint Bidel, the legacy of traveller A. Kun, published in the “Turkestan album” in 1871-1872, was presented.
In the future, the field exhibition will be continued in the schools of the city.
